VLC only had the one recommends so it was missing vlc-plugin-pulse and only that. Other issues may have sprung up due to that first recommends dependency that might have had sub-dependencies. We were shooting for a release date this week but it's going to have to be pushed back due to senior year of school starting for me and various other things for the contributors. If would like to help, please consider donating or if you know Python and/or GTK and would like to help, please contact us!
